Hotel open day for PAs and booking agents
Personal assistants and booking agents are invited to an open day at the Ricoh Arena's award-winning hotel.James Gwilliam, the newly-appointed sales manager at the 71 Rooms and Silk Suites hotel, has organised the open forum on Friday, July 3.
The informal event in the Jaguar Club and Lounge between noon and 4pm is to encourage current, past and potential clients.
James, who previously worked as sales manager at the Holiday Inn Coventry, said he wanted to encourage PAs, booking agents and event organisers to come along.
"This new position is a great challenge for me and it is great to be working at one of the city's landmark venues," he said.
"I've decided to organise this open event to give people who organise meetings, events, exhibitions and conferences the opportunity to come along and see first-hand the facilities the hotel has to offer.
"As well as providing a mix of pitch-view rooms, mini suites and junior suites, guests can use the Arena Health and Fitness Club and breakfast and dinner is served in the Singers Bar and Bistro.
"Those who attend the open forum can enjoy lunch in the Jaguar Club and Lounge and we will be taking people on guided tours of the hotel to show what their delegates can expect when staying at the Ricoh Arena's hotel.
"This event has been designed to continue to raise awareness of the hotel in the local community and consolidate out position as one of the best hotels in the area after our success in last year's Godiva Awards."
